How To Create Panorama Image Using Microsoft Image Composite Editor
Panorama image wide angle view and is normally obtained by stitching many pictures taken from a single location shot in a professional manner. Modern Digital Camera’s come pre-built with this feature.
But if you don’t have a photo-stitching function in-built in your camera, you can do so using software. Microsoft research team has released a free software which exactly does the same.
Named as “Microsoft Image Composite Editor”, this utility can automatically identify and stitch multiple panorama images into a single wide-angle image.
The software is simple to use with drag-drop interface. Simply drag-drop the individual images into the program’s interface.
The software will automatically stitch them together.

You can add Camera motion effect including Rotating Motion, and 3 more types of Planar Motion.

Additionally, you can also do trimming of images using it’s Crop tool.

Finally, you can export the completed image to JPEG, TIFF, Adobe Photoshop, Deep Zoom Tileset, Bitmap, PNG, and HD Photo image formats.

It also let’s you directly publish image to Microsoft’s 3 dimensional photo gallery called “Photosynth”.
