Enable Two Fingers tap Right Click Context Menu in Synaptics Touchpad on Windows 8, 8.1

Synaptics Touchpad doesn’t come with two fingers tap functionality for right click context menu. It does have a two fingers click, which is very different from tap. In this case, you need to use two fingers and click the left and right touchpad buttons together to get the right click context menu.

      Thanks for your feedback.

    Thanks Method 2 worked. If you see carefully. In Synaptics settings they have mentioned “Two finger click opens the context menu” actually it works as they said. Two finger CLICK actually works(not the tap). If you use Method 2 it will convert into tap.

    In windows 10 you can see random suffix attached in regedit TouchPadPS2 ==> TouchPadPS2xxxxx
    Similarly TouchPadSMB2c ==> TouchPadSMB2cxxxxx.
