[Fix] Not able to delete long URLs browsing history in Internet Explorer on Windows 7

Internet Explorer Browsing History

Normally, it is very easy to clear all the internet browsing history on Internet Explorer, it is done by going to “Tools” and then “Delete browsing history”. But there is a known problem of Internet explorer not able to clear the browsing history of the website URLs that are too long. According to Microsoft, this issue occurs because Windows search function can’t guarantee deleting links that are longer than 425 characters. This problem is seen in Internet Explorer running on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2.

As usual, Microsoft has released an update to fix it, it is available for free download from Windows Update. Alternatively, you can download it from below link, and install it. Note that, before installing the update, you Windows should have Service Pack 1 already installed.
