Change Default Search Provider in Microsoft Edge Address Bar

Microsoft Edge is the brand new browser that will come packaged with Windows 10. It will be available for free download from the Windows Store and Microsoft has confirmed that it will be a modern app. Edge gives instant results from web as you start typing in the address bar. By default settings, Microsoft Edge uses Bing search engine for getting the results.

Like in Internet Explorer, you can change the engine to other search providers like Google, Yahoo, etc..

From Edge, go to click on menu and then click Settings.

Scroll down and click on View advanced settings.

Scroll to the bottom and click on the drop-down list Search in the address bar with. By default it will be Bing (www.bing.com). Click<Add new> and then choose from the list of search providers to make it default search engine in address bar.
