Windows 10 comes with a more useful Action Center compared to Windows 8.1. You can quickly access several day-to-day used applications and settings. Action Center can be accessed by clicking the icon located next to the clock on taskbar. By default settings, the Windows 10 Action Center looks like this:
Tablet mode, Connect, Note, All Settings, Battery Saver, VPN, Quiet hours, Location, and Airplane mode are the ones you see when you first install Windows 10. Thankfully you can customize which icons are visible here. Sorry, as of today you can’t add your own program shortcuts or something like that. You need to choose from provided options.
1) Click on Action Center and then on All Settings.
2) Select Notifications & actions in the left pane.
3) Select an icon and click on Select which icons appear on the taskbar. I understand the wording is not totally right, it’s not the icons on the taskbar, but icons in Quick Action Center.
You can now select from the available icons. These settings apply to only 4 items in the Action Center.
