How To Import Files Into Live Movie Maker Over Network In Windows 7?
By default, Live Movie Maker doesn’t allow importing files such as videos over the network. By editing the Windows registry, you can make Movie Maker in Windows 7 to import files over the network. Follow the step-by-step procedure:
1. Start > type regedit.exe and hit enter. This will launch Registry Editor.
2. In the left pane of the Registry Editor, propagate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live\Movie Maker
3. In the right pane, right click an empty area and select “New” > “DWORD (32-bit) Value”

4. Name it as AllowNetworkFiles
6. Double click the new value and set the value data field to 1.

7. Exit Registry Editor.
Now Log-off and Log-in to Windows again. You should be able to Import Files now.
