How to Import Favorites and Bookmarks from Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer to Microsoft Edge on Windows 10
Microsoft Edge is the brand new internet browser shipped with Windows 10 and marks the end of Internet Explorer. First thing you will miss as soon as you launch Edge is your Favorites and Bookmarks from other browsers you have been using like Google Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer, etc.. You end up frustrated and this is one of the reason people tend to avoid trying new browsers!
Give Microsoft Edge a chance and try it out, it is Microsoft’s all-new browser and has some promising features which you can find here. You can import your favorites and bookmarks from your Browser to Microsoft Edge.
1) Click on … located on top right corner of your Edge browser and click Settings.
2) Click Import favorites from another browser.
3) You will see your Browsers listed here. Check the boxes of the list from which you want to import your favorites and click Import.
4) Make sure to turn ON Show the favorites bar so that you can see all your bookmarks and favorites.
Note that you won’t be able to import saved passwords as of now and I don’t think that will ever be possible due to security encryptions of the browser that stores the passwords.
