Fix Welcome Screen Freezed For 30 Sec Problem During Login To Windows 7

Do you have problem of “Welcome” screen hanged for around 30-seconds during logon to Windows 7? The problem occurs if you set solid color as the desktop background in the Personalization settings and login to Windows locally. The problem is due to The Desktop Window Manager Session Manager service.
According to Microsoft KB977346, the problem doesn’t occur when you use image as the desktop background or when you have login to PC remotely. The same problem is seen in Windows Server 2008 R2 too.
To fix this problem, download the update from below link and install in you PC.
This hotfix applies to Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2.
