Windows Media Player Stops Playing Video When The Video Is Repeated For Long Time In Windows 7

Are you trying to play a video repeatedly in a Windows Media Player 12 on your Windows 7 PC? Then after some time during the playback, the video may stop displaying and instead you will see the Album art or thumbnail. However audio will continue to play without problems.
This is a known issue. According to Microsoft Knowledge base article KB2015429, the problem occurs because the codec needed to play the file has crashed, thus causing the video to not display. The resolution to this issue as of now is to close Windows Media Player and play the file again.
