How To Burn A Disc Image From An ISO Or IMG File In Windows 7?

Windows 7 is packed with lot’s of rich features. This includes features for which we used to install a third party tool in our PC. We already have shown you how to remove metadata in documents and images. Another handy feature in Windows 7 is it’s ability to burn discs directly from ISO and IMG file formats. In earlier versions of Windows, this was not possible without a third party burning software like Nero.

To Burn a Disc from ISO or IMG file, follow these simple steps:

1. Insert a blank DVD or CD into your CD/DVD drive.

2. Right click on the ISO or IMG file which you want to burn to disc and select “Burn disc image” option.

3. In the Windows Disc Image Burner menu, click the drop down arrow in ‘Disc Burner’ section and choose your CD/DVD drive.

4. Check the ‘Verify disc after burning’ option if you want Windows to verify the burned data on disc for burn errors.

5. Click “Burn” button.

Windows will now burn the ISO or IMG file to CD/DVD disc.
