How To Create Bootable USB Drive Or DVD To Install Windows 7 From ISO?
Have you purchased your copy of Windows 7 from the Microsoft Store? In case you have opted for an ISO file, you need to first copy this file into a bootable USB Flash drive or DVD in order to install Windows 7. Microsoft has released a tool called The Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool which simplifies the process of creating bootable USB Drive or DVD. Note that you need an USB Flash drive of 4GB capacity in case you choose to create a bootable USB. Here are the steps:
1. First download Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool.
2. Run this tool. Browse and choose the Windows 7 ISO File on your PC.

3. Click Next. Now you are prompted to select the media type, USB drive or DVD.
4. Click either USB Device or DVD buttons, according to your requirements.

5. After selecting a media, click Begin Copying.
6. It may take some time for the process to get completed.
You can now go ahead and install Windows 7 on your PC either from the bootable USB device or the DVD.
Note: You need to be logged in as an administrator to run this tool.
Windows XP Users may need to first install Microsoft .NET Framework v2 and Microsoft Image Mastering API v2 prior to installing the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool.
