How To Delete Temporary Files, Browsing History, Saved Passwords And Cookies In Internet Explorer 8?

Internet Explorer 8, like other browsers stores temporary files, browsing history, passwords and cookies for a faster loading and better browsing experience. But if you are using a shared PC, this feature might pose a threat to your privacy. Other users of your PC can see the websites you have browsed, videos you opened, etc. So you may like to delete all this history once you finish your browsing session.

Follow these steps:

1. Open Internet Explorer 8.

2. Click on “Tools” and then select “Internet Options“.

3. In the General Tab, Click on “Delete” button in the Browsing history section.

4. In the “Delete Browsing History” popup, check all the boxes as you desire and click “Delete” button.

5. Click OK.
