DVD Disk Capacity Shows "Free" Even When Disk Has Data In Windows 7 PC

Microsoft has announced that a problem has been identified in Windows 7 regarding DVD disk size.  As per KBA2021502, when you insert a DVD+RW or DVD-RAM into DVD drive of an Windows 7 PC and check the capacity of the disk in Windows Explorer or “My Computer”, Windows will report the entire capacity of the disk (e.g., 4.37GB) as ”free” even though there’s data on the disk.
